Importing Multi-Column File Data

PROPACEOS supports reading in data from multi-column files. This approach can be used to populate tables.

After selecting the ascii file from which data is imported, the contents of the file are displayed. Header records to be skipped can be specified by either a symbol (e.g., "#", "!", "$", or "%"), or by a fixed number of lines. Headers to be skipped are highlighted.

The user then specifies which columns from the file that are to be loaded into the table columns.
