Merging Results from SPECT3D Runs

In cases where SPECT3D steady-state simulations have been performed for subsets of the simulation times contained in the hydro data file, the results from multiple SPECT3D runs can be combined to facilitate viewing using SpectraPLOT.

The workspaces used in each of the SPECT3D runs must be identical except for the simulation times. The names of the runs can be different.

To merge the results from multiple SPECT3D runs, select the menu item File | Merge runs.

Select the SPECT3D runs to be merged by clicking on the Add button. If more than one run is present in a directory, a combo box will be shown in the Workspace File column to allow selection of the workspace to merge.
In the event results for a given simulation time are available in more than one run, the results from the first run in the list with that time will be used. The position of a run in the list can be changed by using the arrow buttons if Sortable list is not checked.
On clicking Merge runs, the user is prompted to supply a name of the combined run and the directory to save it in.

This feature can also be used to rename a SPECT3D single run.
