Activating and Deactivating A License

This applies only to users who require activation for their Prism application. Users with a site license will not see these options.

• Activation:

  If activation is required, this dialog will appear:

  

  Enter your activation code, provided by Prism, as well as your desired User and Organization names. Users not behind a security firewall can click Activate Now to activate online. Otherwise, manual activation can be initialized with the check box in the lower left. This will require email communication with Prism. Further instructions will appear when this checkbox is checked.

• Updating a license:

To update an expiring license, find License Manager in the Help menu, located in the main application menu bar. This will bring up the License Manager dialog:



Enter your updated activation code, provided by Prism, and click Update License.

• Deactivation:

To free up an activation seat for a different computer to use, a user may deactivate the license on the current computer. This option is located in the License Manager dialog, shown above. Users not behind a security firewall can click Deactivate License to deactivate online. Otherwise, manual deactivation can be initialized with the check box in the lower left. This will require email communication with Prism. Further instructions will appear when this checkbox is checked.
