Setting up the Spectral Grid

Click on the Spectral Grid button or on the Next button on the Backlighter page.

• Spectral Grid Photon Energies:
  • Range to Observe: Enter 6600 for the minimum energy and 6800 for the maximum.
  • # Points in Continuum: Enter 2.
• Additional Photon Energy Points:
  • Number per line transition: 15.
  • Add lines with strength above: default value of 0.001
