Glossary

Layer: A layer contains a set of axes and an arbitrary number of line plots or one contour plot. Layers may share axes and may be offset from one another (see the Layer Menu).

Active layer: The layer that will be used to set the axes properties and for viewing data points (see the layer toobar).

Cascade: Two or more line plots displayed in the same layer with the plots offset from each other.
