Laser Pulse Shape Files

Laser pulse shape files contain data for standard laser pulse shapes used at various laser facilities.* Each data file is a two-column ascii file containing the pulse power (in W) versus time (in sec).

As part of the VISRAD software package distribution,a set of standard laser pulse shapes for various laser beam systems is provided. The files are located in the "{$PCS_VISRAD_DIR}/data/laser_pulse_shapes" folder, where $PCS_VISRAD_DIR is the application's installation directory.
