Laser Beam-Target Intersection Points File

The positions of laser beam-target intersection points can be written to a data file. To do this, select File | Export Beam-Target Intersection Points.

The file contains the interection points in two coordinate systems:

• the coordinate system of the target component being intersected
• the target chamber coordinate system.

In the file, coordinates are given in units of cm and degrees.

In addition to the above data, an option has been added to export additional data for laser beam spatial profile parameters. To have the additional data added to the *.bti export file, use the checkbox in the Lasers tab of Preferences.

• a(z), b(z), n(z) and
• f_SQ(z), DL_W(z), DL_H(z), M(z) (parameters for square/rectanular beam profiles).
