Target Component Summary Table
A table containing a summary of target component parameters can be displayed by selecting the View | Target Components Summary menu item, or clicking the Show Target Components Summary Table button on the toolbar . For each target component, the table contains:
- General target component properties:
- Positioning parameters
- reference coordinate system used for positioning
- type of coordinate system used for positioning (Cartesian, cylindrical, spherical)
- reference point for defining position (e.g., centroid, corner)
- position of reference point (3 coordinates)
- angles used for orienting target component (polar, azimuthal, rotation)
- Size and grid parameters
- length parameters (up to 5)
- number of grid points (up to 4)
- wall thickness
- orientation of surface normals
- Material parameters:
- albedo
- x-ray conversion efficiency
- power of target component (self-emission)
- laser reflectivity
- Viewing parameters:
- polygon fill mode (wireframe, front fill, front & back fill)
- transparency factor.
For parameters that are time-dependent (specified using a table), the word "Table" appears in place of a value.
An example target components summary dialog is
shown below.
Additional features of the Target Components Summary dialog include:
- Parameters for a target component can be edited by selecting with mouse. To edit a target component, double-click on any cell in its row, or right-mouse click and select Edit.
- A splitter is provided to facilitate simultaneous viewing of widely separated columns.
