Sample Problem: Hohlraum at OMEGA with Glint

To set the laser reflection and beam intensity profile parameters, select the Lasers | Beam Profile menu item.

For the beam intensity profile, select a Uniform profile, and set the spot size to 100 microns. For a Uniform profile, the method used to define the spot size is unimportant (e.g., the 1/e radius is the same as the half-max radius).

Set the maximum number of laser reflections calculated to 1. Since only one reflection is considered in this example, all of the laser light that is reflected during the first "bounce" will be deposited in the grid (or else escape the grid). That is, there is no second reflection of laser light.
