Setting Up the Grid: Slotted Return Current Can

To set up a return current can with 9 open slots:

• Select Target | Add Object.
• Select "Slotted Hohlraum" for the target component type.
• Set the object name to "Hohlraum".
• In the Position tab of the Object Parameters Dialog:
• For the Reference Coordinate System, use "Target Chamber".
• Use the default object position: r = (0,0,0).
• Use the default orientation angles (all angles zero).
• In the Size/Gridding tab of the Object Parameters Dialog:
  • Set the radius to 1.4 cm.
  • Set the length to 1.0 cm.
  • Set the slot height to 0.9 cm.
  • Set the slot width to 0.6 cm.
  • For the grid points, use 10 along the Z-axis, 9 slots, 3 azimuthal points per wall, 2 azimuthal points per slot.
• Select "OK". (The return current can wall is added to the graph frame.)
