Time Controls Setup

HELIOS simulations run up until either the maximum simulation time is reached, or the maximum number of cycles is reached. These are set in the Time Controls parameters widget.

In the Advanced Settings portion of the window, time step limits and controls can be adjusted. These include:

Checks for any of the time step constraints may be turned off by checking the relevant box.

If one of the regions has been designated as Void, there is an option to include the zones in the region in the calculations for the time step.

If a previous calculation was run and a restart file was written, there is the option to start the new calculation at one of the time steps in the restart file. To take advantage of this option:
