Setting up the Backlighter

Click on the Backlighter button or on the Next button on the Detector page.

Backlighter Spectral Type: Select File. Leave the default Photon Energy units of eV and the default Intensity units.

To add a time dependent backlighter:

• Click on the Add... button. The following dialog will appear:

• Enter 0 for the Time (the same backlighter intensity will be used for all simulation times).
• Browse and select backlighter.dat file from the Examples -> Radjet directory.
• Leave the Intensity Multiplier value of 1.
• Click OK.

Leave the Profile Type as Uniform and the default size of 10 microns for the Spot radius.
