Displaying time resolved images

To display time resolved images, highlight a simulation time (in this example 192), and click the Time-Resolved Images button.

If desired, the user can change the default flat shading by doing the following:

• Double click anywhere on the image. The dialog box shown below will appear:

• Select Smooth Shading and click OK.

  

  To view monochromatic images :

  • Double click anywhere on the image.
  • De-select Smooth Shading and click the Update plot button.
  • In the Image type combo box select Additional photon energy.
  • In the Photon energy combo box select 2000.
  • Click the Update plot button.

  

  The differences in the images reflect the plasma's spatial non-uniformity and indicate that different spectral features can originate in different plasma regions.
