Setting up the Plasma Properties

Click on the Plasma Properties button, or the Next button from the Geometry properties.

• Plasma Properties:
  • Total Material Density: select MASS_DENSITY from the drop-down list in the combo box. Leave the default units of g/cm^3.
  • Electron Temperature: select ELEC_TEMPERATURE from the drop-down list in the combo box. Set the units to be eV.
• Node Positions:
  • Grid Type: select Moving (Lagrangian).
  • Position Variable: set X, Y, and Z to correspond to NODE_X(t), NODE_Y(t), and NODE_Z(t) respectively.
  • Units: leave the default units of cm.
• Material Fractions:
  • Model: leave the default model type in the drop-down list of Volume fraction [rho(i) / rho(total)].
  • Hydro file variable names for Materials: select VOL_FRACTION_01 (CH2).
