Setting up the Spectral Grid

Click on the Spectral Grid button or on the Next button on the Backlighter page.

• Spectral Grid Photon Energies:
  • Range to Observe: enter 5000 for the minimum energy and 6500 for the maximum.
  • Number Points in Continuum: enter 1500.
• Additional Photon Energy Points:
• Number per line transition: leave the default value of 13.
• Add lines with line strength above: leave the default value of 0.001.

Please note that a large number of points requires additional computation time.
