Displaying Power Summary Table
Selecting View | Power Summary displays a table that summarizes the
overall power balance in a calculation. In contains:
- Power sources:
- power deposited due to all laser beams that are turned on*
- intrinsic power due to self-emission from all objects
- Power sinks:
- power loss due to backscattered laser light (currently fixed at zero)
- power (wall) loss due to x-ray conversion efficiency
- power loss due to radiation escaping grid
- power loss due to radiation absorbed by walls
- Table showing:
- radiative power emitted and absorbed by each object in the target component
grid
- total laser power deposited in each object
- direct laser power deposited
- laser power deposited by short-pulse beams due to portion of beam prior to reflection off of OAPs
- total reflected laser power deposited
- contribution to the reflected laser power by individual reflections
* For NIF, this does not include the fractional power of blue, green, or red cones that have their power off (see NIF Beam Parameters dialog).
