MHD Parameters

MHD effects can only be included for cylindrical geometry.

To include magneto-hydrodynamic effects, click on the Include MHD effects check box and select the desired model.

• Circuit equation:
  • Enter the time dependent voltages (V) in a two-column table of times and voltages. The voltage at a given simulation time is determined by interpolation of values in the table.
  • Enter values for the resistance, inductance and the pinch length.
• Discharge current:
  • Enter the time dependent current values (A) in a two-column table of times and currents. The current at a given simulation time is determined by interpolation of values in the table.
