Setting Particle Beam Parameters

This tab is only enabled if either the Electrons or Ions radio button on the Particle Beam panel is selected. The values used for the stopping power can be either:

• For ions - the values calculated using the ion deposition model of Mehlhorn (1981).
• For electrons - the values calculated using the ESTAR program from NIST.
• Tabulated values. Please contact Prism for the file format.
