VISRAD is a view factor code used to simulate the radiation environment throughout a three-dimensional grid of surface elements. It is commonly used to support the design and analysis of high-power laser and z-pinch laboratory plasma experiments.
VISRAD features a user-friendly graphical interface for setting up 3-D object grids and displaying results. It is capable of simulating the radiative flux (light) and temperature distributions throughout a 3-D surface element mesh.
