Sample Problem: Cylindrical Hohlraum at OMEGA
Overview
This example problem illustrates how to set up a problem with the following
characteristics (it is for illustration purposes only):
- 10 OMEGA beams heat a cylindrical hohlraum. All beams enter one side.
- The hohlraum is oriented along the P6-P7 axis.
- The power in each beam is 0.5 TW, and has a 1 ns square pulse.
- The hohlraum has a length of 0.24 cm, LEH radius of 0.05 cm, and an initial
radius of 0.08 cm.
- The radius decreases linearly with time, shrinking to 0.064 cm at 1.0 ns.
- A capsule with a radius of 0.025 cm is located at the center of the hohlraum.
