Turning Laser Beams On/Off

In addition to setting laser beam powers in the Laser Beam Parameters Dialog, laser beams can be turned On or Off using either of the following approaches:

• Select one or more beams in the Laser Beams List. Then select the menu item Lasers | Turn On (Off).
• Select one or more beams in the Laser Beams List. With the mouse over one of the beams, right-click and select Turn On (Off).

Turning a beam on means that the beam has power. Note that it is possible for a beam to have its power On and not be displayed in the main graphics window. To do this, Hide the beam.
