Chamber Components Library Files

Chamber Components Library files contain data for chamber components. Data for chamber components can be saved to or extracted from the library by selecting the menu item Chamber | Open Chamber Components Lib.

As part of the VISRAD software package distribution, the library includes a set of chamber components for several laser beam systems (including OMEGA, NIF, and OMEGA-EP). These items are contained in the Installed Components portion of the library. The files are located in the "{$PCS_VISRAD_DIR}/data/chambers" folder, where $PCS_VISRAD_DIR is the application's installation directory.

Library files for custom chamber components created by the user are located in the "{$HOME}/.visraddir/chamber_components" folder, where the environment variable $HOME refers to the user's home directory.
