Adding/Deleting Chamber Components

Chamber Components can be added to the VISRAD main window graphics frame by:

• importing them from the Chamber Components Library
• creating a new Chamber Component by copying one or more Target Components.

Chamber Components can be deleted by selecting the item in the Chamber Components List, and then selecting the Chamber | Delete menu item. Alternatively, the Delete Target/Chamber Component toolbar button can be used to delete components, as can right-clicking on the selected items and selecting Delete from the popup menu or using the Delete key.

Creating a Custom Chamber Component

A Chamber Component can be created from one or more Target Components.

To create a Chamber Component, select one or more Target Components in the Target Components List, and do one of the following:

• right-click and select the Add to Chamber Components List menu item, or
• drag the items down into the Chamber Components List (if the Chamber Components List is not visible, select the View | Chamber Components List menu item).

After creating a Chamber Component, it can be store in the Chamber Components Library for later re-use.

When creating a Chamber Component from Target Components that utilize time-dependent grid parameters (e.g., a time-dependent radius), the Chamber Component is created using grid data for the currently selected simulation time.
