Sample Problem: Z-Pinch Hohlraum with Radiatively-Heated Foil

Overview

This sample problem illustrates the case of a foil heated by z-pinch radiation with a time-dependent pinch radius, wall albedos, and pinch power.

After starting up VISRAD, the steps in this example application are:

• Set up the grid.
• Set the albedos.
• Set the power source.
• Set of the simulation time grid.
• Configure and run the simulation.
• View the results.
