Files

Files utilized by PROPACEOS for setting up simulations and atomic data input include (file extensions are shown in parentheses):

• Workspace files (*.prw)
• Preferences file
• Atomic model files (*.atm)
• ATBASE atomic database files (*.atb)

   

Files created during a PROPACEOS simulation are (file names are in parentheses):

• EOS/Opacity data file ({Run_Name}.prp)
• Copy of the workspace file ({Run_Name}.prc)
• Log file ({Run_Name}.log)

All of the output files are written into the folder created for the run:

{Run_Directory}/{Run_Name}

where "Run_Directory" and "Run_Name" are specified in the Set Run Parameters dialog.
