Overview of Simulation Setup

Setup of SPECT3D simulations is performed by cycling through a series of "widgets" that contain parameters for:

• Simulation Type
• Geometry
• Plasma Properties
• Materials
• Atomic Data
• Kinetics Model
• External Radiation Source
• Detector
• Backlighter
• Spectral Grid
• Simulation Times

Each widget can be accessed directly by pressing the corresponding button on the left side of the main window, or by cycling through the widgets using the Back and Next buttons at the bottom of the main window.
